- The use of lip grips and pliers to hold the fish are stricly prohoibited in this year's competition. Anglers will instead use a rag or a Flatty Finger to avoid damaging the fish before releasing back into their habitat.
- Anglers are to fish only in designated areas which include the entire St George's Basin, and Sussex Inlet.
- Strictly a catch and release event.
- Only fish over 36cm will count towards your score.
- Photo must be clear with: entire fish on brag met, token, measurements displayed clearly.
- Anglers can only with longest flathead, second longest, or total aggregate.
- All submissions to be entered by 1pm. No exceptions.
- Please obey parking instructions for briefing and presentation.
- Fish must be alive and be returned to the water as soon as possible.
- Participants must be present at presentation to recieve their place.
- Anyone found to be cheating in any way will be disqualified immediately and banned from future competitions.
- All children are the responsibility of their guardians.
- All anglers must have a valid fishing licence.
- All anglers accept responsibility for themselves and agree that the competition officials will not be held responsible for any mishaps.
