The Keepnet Classics 2023 is being split into two competitions:
1 competition for Kwa-Zulu Natal and a separate competition for the rest of South Africa. There is a big fish prize available, which encompasses both competitions, and only 1 big fish prize is available.
R1,200 is added to the prize pot for every team that registers.
R600 per team is paid out for first place
R360 per team is paid out for second place
R180 per team is paid out for third place
R60 per team is paid out for fourth place
***Cash Prize Pots are separate for each competition. KZN will have its own cash pot and the rest of SA will have its own Cash Pot***
For example:
If 40 teams register for KZN, First place will be R600 x 40 = R24,000. Second place will be R360 x 40 = R14,400, and so on.
If 45 teams register for the Rest of South Africa, first place will be R600 x 45 = R27,000, and so on...
The Kicker Prize is awarded to the biggest fish landed over 5.5kg, and only 1 Kicker prize is available. If one angler from the KZN catches a 5.6kg and another angler from the rest of SA comp catches a 5.8kg fish - the 5.8kg fish wins the kicker prize.
