- One entry qualifies one person across ALL CRAFTS.
- One fish, one prize (unless otherwise stated)
- You Can NOT win the top prize for largest fish (if it’s the same species) back to back months.
- One place, one prize per month bar the species prize. If you win the species prize, you can also win biggest fish in your category if it is a chosen species.
- All fish must be videoed correctly, and all fish are measured from bottom lip to fork of tail – any videos that are not clear will not be accepted.
- You cannot weigh another angler’s fish. If this happens you will be disqualified from the event and you will NOT be refunded.
- Junior angler is 12 and under
- If there is any doubt around the validity of a fish that is weighed in. The organisers for the Go Fish Super Series Summer Slam have the final say and have the right to disqualify the said fish or angler if they see fit and no refunds will be given.
- Anglers fishing from a charter boat can also weigh their fish
WEIGH IN METHODS:
KEEP SPECIES – (yellowfin tuna, dorado, couta, wahoo, snoek, cape yellowtail) these fish need to measured using a tape measure
- Catch species
- Open camera on your phone and take a picture of the craft and the fish. Send this image to Go Fish admin via WhatsApp.
- Once back on land, open the Keepnet App and follow the prompts for ‘Add a Fish’. Make sure during the video you are stating your name, species, length, and competition name. The video needs to clearly show the length of the fish on the tape measure and the cutting of the tail.
- The standard for measuring a fish will be from the tip of the mouth to the fork of the tail of the fish.
- Any mutilated fish will not be counted.
- Once you are in a Wi-Fi zone or if you are happy to use your data then go to the ‘My Net’ page and click the sync arrows displayed in the top right-hand corner.
- Your catch will then be uploaded to the system and will show on the website and app.
RELEASE SPECIES – these fish do not need to be measured, only recorded alive on video in the Keepnet app
- Catch species
- Open the Keepnet App and follow the prompts to ‘Add A Fish’
- Make sure during the video you clearly state name, craft, species and competition name. The video needs to include the species caught and on which craft it was caught on, as well as the clear release of the fish swimming away.
- Please note you do not have to measure release species fish.
- Once you are in a Wi-Fi zone or if you are happy to use your data then go to the ‘My Net’ page and click the sync arrows displayed in the top right-hand corner.
- Your catch will then be uploaded to the system and will show on the website and app.
